Ark: Survival Evolved is built on Unreal Engine 4 and merges a unique blend of emergent multiplayer cooperation and competitions. Players awake naked and hungry on a mysterious island and their goal is to hunt, harvest, grow crops, build shelter and craft items to survive. There are over 100 different dinosaur species and other prehistoric beasts that can all be tamed (we’re looking forward to taming the T-Rex; Challenge Accepted!), including gargantuan creatures on a scale never before seen in games.
Players will also be able to ride Pterodactyls over a range of different terrains, including snowy mountains, deep jungles full of raptors or fortified enemy bases with gigantic Brontosaurus’s… alternatively players could chase down prey on the back of a T-Rex!
Ark: Survival Evolved is expected to officially launch in June 2016 on the Xbox One via the ID@Xbox program, Steam and on Playstation 4 with Project Morpheus support.
