Gearbox’s Battleborn, now has a beta available for everyone to play on PS4.

If you haven’t heard of Battleborn before, its a new cooperative based shooter from the developer Gearbox, makers of Borderlands. Battleborn itself is a MOBA at heart, but seems to be bringing a new genre to the table altogether. Battleborn consists of 30 characters to choose from, a story and a vast range of different game modes!

The Battleborn Beta features all 25 characters (At launch), two competitive multiplayer modes and two story missions. The player can progress through the game’s beta but the progress of the player will not be carried over to the full game.

PS4 players that play the beta will gain access to the first DLC for free and will instantly gain availability to Alani, the first DLC character when released. Players that buy the season pass after playing the beta will also gain a key that allows the player to instantly unlock any character.

The beta will be available for Xbox one and PC on the 13th April and will all run until the 18th April. Battleborn’s full release date will be on 3rd May 2016 on PC, Xbox one and PS4.
