Wii U to inherit Oddworld Inhabitants

Today we heard news that Abe from Oddworld is moving his green butt over towards the Wii U eShop for Oddword: New ‘n’ Tasty as a digital download. This is the first Oddworld adventure on Nintendo since Game Boy Advance!

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty started development back in 2012 as a from scratch remake of the original 1997 Playstation classic “Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee”. However gameplay, graphics, movies and audio have been improved as well as new secret areas and general improvements.

Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty was ranked as the 10th best game on PC in 2015 on Metacritic.

The story tells the life of Mudokens who have been held captive and are about to be turned into meat snack. As Abe is down to you to save your friends and escape, of course things are never as easy as that, you’ll discover other mysterious going ons,

On Wii U the game will use the off-screen GamePad to complement the on screen action and will launch at a 25% off the £14,99 listing. The game is also available on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, Xbox One and PC
